Case Study: Bushcraft Experience
The Client:
Founded by Johanna Norton, Bushcraft Experience provides a wide range of bushcraft based services around Dartford in Kent and further afield.
The Project:
A website was required to effectively present the different arms of the business to the main target markets. One of the main target markets was schools, and as such it felt that it was important that the site had a graphically intense and engaging feel, with multiple animating elements.
The logo and draft design were worked up initially in photoshop before the site was built out incorporating the Joomla content management system.
The structure of the site logically sets out the main areas of the business together with a News and Portfolio section that could receive additional pages on a regular basis. This approach can both make the site more interesting to viewers who may wish to revisit the site regularly, whilst also appearing to be more relevant to google, as the information is seen as being more up-to-date if updated regularly. This also provides an ever growing number of keywords on the website, and provides content that interested parties can link to using the bookmarking buttons that have been included within the design, which combined help performance of the website in search engines.
In addition to this, latest content modules have been incorporated within the home page and the footer areas of each page, to both highlight these updates and make them easily accessible.
